Beth Hampshire

I am a music therapist working at Music Therapy Services of Greater Atlanta. I received my music therapy degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1998, my neurologic certification from Colorado State University in 2001, and my fellowship in 2006. I work with children and adults with a wide variety of disabilities. I get to spend my whole day -- everyday -- making music!

I also serve the community through many national and local organizations including: Continuing Education Committee for the Certification Board of Music Therapists, the Board of Directors for the Autism Society – Georgia Chapter, and the Roswell Inclusion Task Force.

I am married to Patrick and have one daughter, Jessica. When I’m not making music, I like to be at home reading, cooking or playing with my dogs!

What makes you proud to B-Who-U-R?

I am proud to be me because there is no other ME! I am proud that I’m able to try new things, create my own way, and see the positive in life and everyone around me.
