Charities & Fundraising
We offer special rates for fund raising! Contact us today to learn about how we can help your school, church, or organization raise funds for a kids' charity.
The mission of B-who-u-r is simple: To create products that will provide funds for special needs organizations, schools, and charities.
Since the business began in 2008, we have helped numerous schools and organizations raise thousands of dollars to fund all sorts of special needs programs and projects.
In addition, a portion of all of our profits goes to support many of these same organizations, and other charities throughout the South. When our business first began, we committed to a goal of 10%, but since that time, we have regularly exceeded that goal, and continue to do so.
Organizations we have recently supported include:
- Tift County Schools
- Roswell North Elementary
- Crabapple Middle School
- Tritt Elementary
- Extra Special People
- Music Therapy Services of Greater Atlanta
We are proud to make a difference in our area!

THE perfect gift My
THE perfect gift
My Mother-in-law recently gave 2 t-shirts to my daughter who was diagnosed with autism last year. They were truly THE PERFECT GIFT.
When my daughter started Kindergarten last year, she barely spoke, couldn't run or skip, wouldn't climb on any playground equipment and cried everyday. My Mother-in-law sent me information on a facility in Suwanee and in Peachtree City who specialize in the treatment of children with autism, asbergers, tourettes, ADD, ADHD and other right-brain and spectrum disorders. After attending their 2 hour seminar and researching not only the facility but also the founder and his background and credentials, we decided to try this new groundbreaking therapy. Keep in mind that we live in Knoxville, TN, so it meant a commitment to drive her to therapy three days a week for 7 1/2 months
(240 miles, one way, or over 40,000 miles).
Her transformation was nothing less than AMAZING!!! Our child who was so unhappy and couldn't play on the playground like other children (typical or otherwise) was skipping, running around and climbing trees, laughing all the time and could look us in the eye while carrying on a conversation. They truly have a phenomenal program that changed my daughters life (as well as the life of her father, little brother and myself). I will tell you that it is a complete lifestyle change not only for the child, but for your whole family - but it is SO WORTH IT! I would do it again in a heartbeat.
For anyone interested in therapy that WORKS because it is based on the whole body (diet, exercise and cognitive therapy), please contact Brain Balance. If you live in or near Suwanee, ask for Tammy Leigh Norris. She was my daughters therapist and I will forever be greatful that she helped to pull my daughter back from a place I thought she would never be able to escape. Anyone wishing to get more information from a parents perspective is welcome to contact me directly at my email address.
I, too, am giving back to the autism community. I make beaded handbags and 10% of the gross proceeds are going to start a scholarship fund at Brain Balance to help offset the cost as it is currently not covered by insurance. Please visit my website to see them and find out more information.
